More about biofilm

Biofilm grows in the pipe work of all hot and cold tubs and also in the nicks and crannies around the jets, under head-rests, in the filter compartment and just about anywhere else. 

Biofilm is initially evident as a slippery film and, as the problem grows, it can form a thick sludgy layer. It is a breading ground for bacteria, mould and algae.

If you think your tub is clean and sanitary just because the water looks clear, think again!

If you keep your tub clear of biofilm you will find that you need to use much less sanitiser because there is a lower bacterial load for the sanitiser to work on. A spa with immaculately clean plumbing results in cleaner, clearer, fresher water and better water circulation.

Just add eco3spa Step 1 - Hot Tub Cleaner to the warm water prior to draining your hot tub every 3 months and follow the instructions on the bottle.
